About Emma Blackman
Emma is an independent creative producer and a Stage One Producers Bursary recipient.
Alongside her freelance career, she worked as a venue-based producer in numerous acclaimed London venues including: Soho Theatre (Creative Engagement Producer mat cover 2022), Shoreditch Town Hall (Interim Cultural Programmer 2021), Theatre Deli (Producer and Programmer 2015-2020).
Emma Blackman Productions was launched in 2018 to focus on championing and celebrating female creatives in the theatre, and offering a stage to female voices. From new writing to gig theatre and immersive shows, EBP offers high-quality and accessible work based on exciting and less-heard stories.
With Theatre Deli, Emma has co-founded and produced numerous festivals including Rain or Shine - an outdoors circus and theatre festival aimed at families, and Beyond Borders Festival - an annual theatre and debate festival during Refugee Week UK.
